Race Report: The Curse of Dark Hollow

Well,....
I'd like to report that I'm too damn old for a race-cut jersey.
I'd like to report that my belly will fly out the front when unzipped.
I'd like to report that I went with a case of good beer and came back with nothing.
I'd like to report that I only had about six of those beers camping out the night before.
I'd like to report I only had two beers after the race,...6+2=8
I'd like to report that I'm wondering what happened to the rest of my beers,...16 of them to be exact.
I'd like to report that someone else better bring beer to the next race,..or your going to see a Terror in Teaberry.
I'd like to report that as always, it was a good time hanging with the Cupcakes.
I'd like to report that Churtle's leftover sweet potato fries were pretty tasty.
I'd like to report that Pedro had 5 flats and still finished,...I would have thrown in the towel.
I'd like to report Mkeeferkeefer flatted twice,....and still won by two minutes.
I'd like to report with all the Cupcakes struttin' around the podium, the Beer Runs are gonna' be a cock fight.

I'd like to report that we got rain finally,...down here too!
I'd like to report that I read a lot of funny stuff on the Internet about the race.
I'd like to report a lot of people thought they would use this as a "Warm-up" for the Shenandoah 100.
I'd like to report that I think it should be the other way around. I love them and have done them both.
I'd like to report that between Abbey, Loon, Yellow Hill, Mad Scientist, and all the rest of the endless singletrack, you couldn't ask for more flow or trail in one course.
I'd like to report that I was even pleasantly surprised by singletrack I have never ridden.
I'd like to report that there had to be 35 miles of trail??
I'd like to report that I always hated race reports.
I'd like to report that I'd like to see ya' in the woods.
